Miss Megan Holzhauer  presented her choreographic work “BEHIND THAT GLEAM” in her senior show at UW-Milwaukee’s New Dancemakers: Emanation. The faculty chose her piece to represent the university at the American College Dance Association’s North Central Regional Conference. With this unique opportunity, Megan’s piece will be adjudicated by a panel of nationally recognized dance professionals. 

Congratulations to Jillian Pino on her award of the Presidential Scholarship from Winona State Theatre and Dance Department.   Congratulations Jillian!  Best of luck to you.

Congratulations to Megan Holzhauer, who recieved a scholarship  at the Dance Masters of Wisconsin Workshop in February.  Megan competed among 16 other talented dancers in the 16-21 year old age group.  Her scholarship will allow her to attend three upcoming Dance Masters of Wisconsin workshops next year.  Well done Megan!

The Dance Masters of Wisconsin welcomed Chelsey Wagner as one of their newest members.  New members must pass a written, oral and demonstrative exam in the areas that they teach.  Miss Chelsey passed her Ballet and Jazz exams with flying colors!  Congratulations, Miss Chelsey.

Participating in the 16-21 age group was Ariana King and Miranda Rampson, both of whom earned a scholarship to a dance study of thier choice.  Great job ladies!

These 3 passed their Student Honors Exams in Ballet, Tap and Jazz in their repective levels (Sophia-white, Julianna-blue, Hannah-red).  Great job girls!

Miss Miranda Zielinski was awarded a $1200 college scholarship at the Winter DMW Convention. Congratulations Miss Miranda!

ALUMNI IN THE NEWS!


Cardinal Stritch University began their own Spirit Squad this year which is made up of a Competitive Dance Team as well as a Cheer and Stunt Team. Rachel Bohn and Rachel Borkowski, previous students of Nancy Dianne Studio, are members of the Dance Team. Rachel Bohn is a freshman at Cardinal Stritch majoring in Biology with a Pre-Dentistry certificate. Rachel Borkowski is a senior majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in Literacy.
